Artists lived to their expectation at the recently held Gala in Murambinda

Artists lived to their expectation at the recently held independence gala in Murambinda as they delivered top billing performances to the satisfaction of their fans.

Local residents were in for a treat at the recently held Gala as many musician lived to their expectations by the crowd which was kept on the dancing ground the whole night and it was a memorable first experience for the majority.

This independence 44th Gala lineup was balanced and local residents had a home experience of assorted performances and they enjoyed the action packed show as it was electric act one after the other artists taking turns to showcase their polished acts.

The Gala which started as early 5 in the afternoon soon after the main independence celebrations at Murambinda B , saw a multitude of people coming in together to have fun and enjoy the fruits of independence at the arena , which  was full to its maximum capacity and it was all good vibes .

During the early hours local djs took turns to entertain the crowd, building the momentum and getting the stage warm for different artists who kept the stage burning for the whole night.

Every artists was on time and performed within his or her slot as there was strict time management and the Gala was progressing smoothly and the response from the cheerful crowd was overwhelming.

Simon Mutambi and the cobra kings performance was out of this world, as he put out a solid performance from onset till the end of his set dishing out tune after tune .

The cobra kings’ front man mean business on stage and fans singed along during his set accompanied by serious dance moves on the stage.

Simon Mutambi went on to showcase his lead guitar prowess , during his solo moment and fans were left wanting more , as the cobra king front man went onto perform lead guitar renditions cover for Independence track.

Another artists who is worth mentioning his Blot, aka Grenade, the Zimdancehall chanter was full of energy as he dished out his yesteryear hits like Ndoripinda riddim, Mathew Rusike and skelewu.

The artists’ grand entrance signaled by his signature intro echoed in the arena and loud cheers were made before he even performed anything.

His presence was heavily felt by the crowd and the dancehall shelling’s were massive even the response from the crowd was lively.

As the he went on to prove that he is still the best Zimdancehall performer and king of the freestyles, mixing his hits song with freestyles now and then.

Blot delivered a top notch performance leaving his Murambinda fans satisfied and convinced that he is still the reigning freestyle king and the best performer.

The chillspot family, (Sawa Moment) chemistry was something else as they went down a nostalgic moment, with the 80s dancehall before championing the early 2010 Zimdancehall and the response from the fans was awesome.

Dj Fantan was highly energetic as usual driving the party, with his signature moves, backed by chanting with, dj Levels and Ribhe on the ones and twos .

It was during the chillspot set where the Tokwe Mukosi hit maker Ras Caleb performed his Zig song for the first time and the crowd went wild.

Another artists who had a good time at stage was Chief Hwenje as people were still in celebratory mood, he delivered a polished act and his song Mai Welly had to be repeated more than twice and people were singing word for word.

The gala was memorable, imbibers had a great time enjoying discounted prices on local beers, and they were braaing spots in the arena.

After all said and done, all the artists lived to their expectations and fans were satisfied , it was an overwhelming first experience for the majority who have never attended Gala or live shows .
